Started the morning at Western regional and was excited to find 3 White-throated Sparrows. This made out count for the day 8 sparrow species. The dried up pond on the corner of the park entrance and Carrs Mill is an excellent spot to see Savannahs. Most of our 8 species were in that small field. We also had some warblers with Cape Mays and a Blackburnian.

I then went out to Sharps Farm at Waterford. This is a private farm in Woodbine but open to the public from 10-4 during the fall season. Mainly looking at the sparrow habitat and in the middle of the day it was slow. One of the ponds had many Familiar Bluets that I was very excited to see since Odes are getting scarce.

I then attended the Fungus Foray let by the Solems at Middle Patuxent environmental area. Along with the mushrooms we had an Ovenbird and 3 Black-throated Blue Warblers.
