Subject: [MDBirding] Hashawha - Carroll County - 10/12/12


Busy bird morning, BUT most were hunkering down due to the strong winds. Most noteable for me were 2 COMMON RAVENS circling in the sky. Very vocal and showing off their wedged tails.

I also caught a quick glimpse of 3 birds flying high, very high that looked to be a Pelican species. There were 3 of them flying in close formation heading Southwest. I wish I could have gotten a better look at them but the sun was in my face and they were way up there.
