The eBird distribution map shows Black-caps pretty much where they're supposed to be with no obvious movement to the south. Could happen later. Ron Pittaway's report didn't mention Black-capped Chickadees but I think I remember someone suggesting they weren't irruptive this winter. One can only hope!

I also wonder if the Black capped Chickadee migration ever has anything to do with the pine cone crop and that this might be related.
