Subject: [MDBirding] MBC Field Trip - Clay-colored Sparrow

Hi Everyone,

I led a Montgomery County Bird club field trip this morning in search of
sparrows. The highlight was brief views of a Clay-colored Sparrow mixed in
with small flock of chippies. Other sparrows seen were White-throat, White
Crowned, Swamp, Song and Field. Location was the field East of Huntmaster
Road about a hundred yards from the road. This is the same place where Jim
Stasz had a Clay-colored Sp two years ago and where Jared Fisher Northern
Shrike was located last year. Fantastic birding spot!

Regards,
