Subject: [MDBirding] Hermit Thrush, Towhee, Sparrow & Mink-(!) Aspen Hill Rec Area

Hi all,

Did a short morning walk up the trail in Aspen Hill along Rock Creek. Nothing exciting, just the usual fare
this time of year, but a surprise sighting of a mink trotting across the bike path was nice. This is my 2nd sighting of this species in the park. It ran down the bank, and out sight. American Toads were calling from the woods in places.
