The Ferry Bar Park Black Scoter was not relocated today. Upon arriving, the local fishermen told us that a "hawk" had been making repeated swoops at "the duck that the birdwatchers are all looking for," causing it to disappear a mere 30 minutes before we arrived. I would imagine the "hawk" is either a young eagle or a Peregrine Falcon.
We did, however, successfully nab an Eastern Meadowlark and a Lesser Scaup at Fort McHenry.
