I walked the tow path from Violettes Lock to marker 25 this morning. Near marker 24 I encountered a large mixed flock dominated by golden-crowned kinglets, but it also contained one blackpoll warbler. The red-headed woodpeckers were numerous and very active near marker 25. A rather large flock of >20 rusty blackbirds were in the same area.
