From 3-4:30 PM today I was birding at Gateway Business Park in Columbia in the vicinity of the Howard County Dept of Social Services Building at 7121 Columbia Gateway Drive. The was one Northern Harrier flying south, 6 Red-breasted Nuthatches feeding on Virginia Pine cone seeds, a yellow Palm Warbler in a flock of sparrows, and a Pileated Woodpecker- the first one I've seen at this location.
