Tue., 1 P.M., flooded field just N of routes 481 X 309 and W of 481 foraging in shallow water c. 200' from the road as seen between 2 small Willow Oaks directly next to some Dunlin. Lesser Yellowlegs sized but much more compact, of course, and lacking the warm brownish tones, streaking, and brown breast of a Pectoral. In company with 22 snipe and 25 or so Dunlins and a few Killdeer. If you go put on the 4-way hazard lights and be aware of any traffic coming on going. Stopping here is a little hairy. DeLorme map 50 roughly coordinates 3 and 1/2 way between the B & C. Queen Annes county. - Harry Armistead, Philadelphia.
