Late this afternoon there was a juvenile Brown Pelican flying around the southwest side of Eastern Neck NWR. I observed it from Ferry Point Park on Kent Island. Take Exit 41 off Rt 50 and park at the Chesapeake Exploration Center. Walk north to the end of the point. A scope is necessary. The pound nets off Eastern Neck were too far and had too much glare for me to check them.
