Yesterday, there were about 150 on Piscataway creek, viewed from the end
of Wharf Road. They typically spend the winter there. The view is
to the north-east so light is not so good early morning.

This location is on the west/south shore of the Potomac river about 10
miles south of the DC beltway (and more or less across the river from
Mount Vernon.
