Hi
I live too far away to have much skin in this game, but it may be that a lower fee can be negotiated for a service rendered. Have any of the local MOS chapters adopted the WSSC lands in terms of censusing the bird populations attracted to them? It may well be that in the built up regions of MONT, HOWARD, and PG Cos, these lands would be candidates for IBAs [Important Birding Areas], if that's the correct term. Offer WSSC that commitment as an inducement for a fees structure lower than other users [fishermen/women] who come to the lands as individuals for extractive reasons alone.
