I saw the female Tufted Duck this morning from about 7:55-8:20. It was on the SE side of the Narrows, almost under the highway bridge. It could be best seen from the waterman's paved lane on the southeast side of the Narrows, which is right next to the road (RT 18), accessed by getting off Rt. 18 as if to go to the Kent Island Yacht Club (Wharf Rd.), taking a left around the boats and channel before the entrance to the Yacht Club and going all the way to the end where it reaches the Narrows (called Medic Rd. in Google maps).
