As you drive from Easton to Tilghman, you will pass the road to Claiborne. The next road is Old Claiborne Rd and abutting that intersection (on your right) there is a recently-created pond which can be empty or full of waterfowl. Today it is hopping with plenty of Lesser Scaup and Buffleheads, a few Ruddy Ducks, a couple of female Goldeneye, and at least two Ring-necked Ducks. Nothing unusual, but I wanted to post so any travelers will know to glance that way. Today there seemed to be mostly Canade Geese, but then a crowd of ducks came swimming out of the reeds.
