Thanks to Frode Jacobsen's eBird list from March 2nd, I went to Thomas Point Park in Anne Arundel County at midday. I saw 4 female Common Redpolls in the Sweetgum trees right at the point. There was a variety of waterfowl offshore including Common Goldeneyes, Long-tailed Ducks, both species of scaup, and Bufflehead. A large raft of Canvasbacks was mostly hidden by houses in Gordon Cove. One Osprey flew over at the intersection of Thomas Point and Arundel on the Bay Roads as I was leaving the area.
