Subject: [MDBirding] "The Wayward Phoebe

I got a dose of cabin fever this afternoon and decide to take the short drive over to the Union Mills Wetlands and listen to the Peeper and Wood Frog Symphony and look for Bluebirds. This Eastern Phoebe had been there all winter but had not allowed me a close look or an opportunity for a photograph until today. It sat perched not 30 feet from me, singing and catching midges off the water. I first saw this bird in December through a scope way out in the scrub trees in the marsh. I looked for it every time I visited the wetlands and would see it on occasion. Today it came together!

I posted three images on our Wildlife South Image Forums
