Weather:
Mostly a high overcast with fog, with some limited clearing at times; 46-54 degrees; fair visibility; winds mostly ESE, 5-10 mph

Raptor Observations:
Adult or near adult Golden Eagle at 12:11 EDT. Only the fifth spring Golden Eagle at this site, but the fourth in five years. This individual took a similar path to one sighted on the same day two years ago (3/11/11).

Non-raptor Observations:
Pine Warbler; 65 Tundra Swans; Over 900 Common Grackles plus several hundred other blackbirds

Site Description
Fort Smallwood Park is located on the western shore of Chesapeake Bay at the
mouth of the Patapsco River, 11 miles south of Baltimore, MD. Best winds are
from the southwest. The Park is closed to visitors on Wednesdays.
