Hi Everyone,
After the rain, I had the chance to check out the wet fields and grasslands at Kenilworth Park (DC).� The whole area held a lot of standing water both on the lawn and in the grassland.� As I walked around I flushed 8 Wilson's Snipe, 2 Eastern Meadowlark, and a number Field Sparrows.� There was also a sizable murder of Crows that harassed an Osprey and one of the flushed Meadowlarks.� Obviously they don't like raptors, but I can only guess the one crow doggedly chased the Meadowlark for fun!?!
