Subject: [MDBirding] Re: Georgetown Reservoir - Long-tailed Duck

The Long-tailed Duck was still there when I biked back to the reservoir around noon. However, after spending an hour at Fletcher's Cove and returning past the reservoir around 1:30 pm, it had apparently left.

Fletcher's Cove was active with a nice mixed flock of sparrows by the foot bridge over the creek just upstream from concessions (at least 3 Fox Sparrows in with the White-throats and Song Sparrows). I also saw an Osprey heading upriver, at least 4 Eastern Phoebes calling on both sides of the river, Yellow-rumped Warblers, Winter Wren, Wood Ducks, and Common Mergansers.
