A crow with a deformed bill was feeding on the ground below our bird feeder this morning. The tip half of the upper mandible had grown crooked so that the tip was to the left and reached below the lower mandible. It fed by holding its head and bill to the right. It appeared healthy. I tried to get a photo but was not successful because the window had a screen on it ... arghhh. It was sad but interesting to see how this bird had overcome its handicap.
