I found a Lapland Longspur at the Dennis Kirkwood's World Famous Bradenbaugh Flats this afternoon. The bird was on the north side of Bradenbaugh Rd, just east of Harford Creamery Rd in NW Harford. It was with a flock of about 65 Horned Larks and 15 American Pipits. There were also 8 Killdeer in the field.
I believe the latest record for MD is 4/1, but anything after mid-March is pretty late. I saw Chuck Parker reported one from Frederick to eBird today as well. Maybe we'd have more late March records is we have more late March snow storms!

Lots of Savannah Sparrows were out this afternoon as well and I thought for sure the flock of 45 Killdeer that I saw on Kidd Rd was going to have something else. Next time!
Good birding!
