Took advantage of the nice weather, and Marcia Balestri's post� to check out Lilypond's birds. Blue-winged Teal, Green-winged, Gadwall were in various locations and the best sighting was a Mink! This one was on the road near one of the ponds closer to Oland Road. It was ambling along. The heron rookie was magnificent to watch,herons coming and going like an airport.

�Met Chris Wright on the path, and exchanged sightings.
A Fox Sparrow sang for� a short time as well near the green houses in the back then a red fox darted back into the woods.
A muskrat was foraging on a pond near Monocracy Bottom Rd.
