Today at Oxbow Lake I had most/all of the species Jay Sheppard had yesterday, with a couple additions:

1 Ring-necked Duck (a very handsome male)

1 Bufflehead (female)

1 Pied-billed Grebe (Watched as the grebe caught a fish, wrestled with it,
positioned it to swallow, and then gulped it down!)

1 Bald Eagle.(One adult flying easterly overhead carrying nest materials.)

Tree Swallows were flying overhead catching insects and when it started raining, both the insects and swallows made their way down to lake level.
