I have some old Trinovids that needed replacement eyepiece lenses. Got them from Leica (Leitz) with no problems. This was about 15 years ago, but I suspect the service is still excellent.
I currently have some Nikon Monarchs that I just got completely replaced with new ones for $23 even though my bins were way out-of-warranty! The collimation was out-of-whack and I sent them in for repair (which would have been $35, max). They determined that the repair was not a reliable fix and offered to replace my bins with new ones!!!! While the replacement took about 3 months (apparently, it took that long for the Japanese factory to make some new ones -- that model is no longer being regularly manufactured). I just got them back yesterday and they are perfect! The old adage that one gets what one pays for is certainly true of good bins. Not only are they more reliable and better optically (generally), the service is incredible.

ps: we still have common redpolls (and snow -- they seem to go together).
