Stayed out of DC today. Saw the White-winged crossbills (at least a dozen) at Resthaven Cemetery north of Frederick. Had a single horned lark at the corner of Oland Rd. and Buckleytown Pike. At Lillypons saw a Greater Yellowlegs and several snipe. Hughes Hollow yielded many Ring-necked Ducks, Wigeon, and coots, a single Redhead, and 3 Blue-winged teal. Tree swallows were abundant at several places along with a scattering of Barn and Rough-winged swallows. Also saw my FOY Brown Thrasher along River Road.
