I missed the rusties and the blue-headed vireo, but but astounded at the number of PALM WARBLERS present. At least a dozen, perhaps as many as 16. All but one were along the boardwalk and river trail.
Other highlights were a CASPIAN TERN headed up the Anacostia River, both KINGLETS, and one more sighting of that odd feral graylag I've been seeing for a few years. S/he seems to have paired up with a Canada Goose again, so perhaps we can look forward to some really odd hybrids in a few months
