I arrived at HH when members of the Montgomery Bird Club were compiling their list. There is some overlapping here of species in Anna's post as well as that of Kurt Schwarz. This is a partial list, not including several of he usual suspects.
Osprey 3 ( 2 circling above and 1 flyover the smaller impoundment)
Redhead pair
American Coot 10
Pied-billed Grebe 2
Tree Swallow ( too numerous and fast to count)
Blue Grey Gnatcatcher 8
Eastern Bluebird 1
Carolina Wren 1
Great Egret (flushed from behind smaller impoundment)
Great Blue Heron 3
Red-Shouldered Hawk (heard)
Solitary Sandpiper 3 ( flooded field ) confirmed by Dave C who saw 4
Non av�an: The biggest (length and girth) Northern Water snake (large impoundment) I have ever seen.
