This morning (actually at this moment) there's a flock of 7 Surf Scoters on
the Potomac, opposite Hains Pt. They are in front of the airport.
I also saw a female Black Scoter fly up the river, but it's gone.
Also of note, at least 182 Laughing Gulls have flown down the Anacostia
River and down the Potomac. Where are they coming from.
