Hey everyone,

Well, it sure was worthwhile to step outside and take a look in the yard a few minutes ago. I was at the corner of my yard that backs to deciduous woods,
and spished and squeaked a few times and a flock of about 20 small birds flew in from the neighbors yard. I squeaked a little more and they came right in
to the tree just above me, about 25-30 feet up! Although it was misty and gray overcast, I could see that they had strongly streaked breasts & nice forked tails.
Then, one turned a little more and I could see a nice yellow wing bar... oh, cool, Pine Siskins! Before they departed, I counted 23 birds. This is by far my
latest date ever for them in my yard. Before today, my latest spring date was April 4th.
