Have been out almost every day but of course I am field bird oriented The Grasshopper sparrows are back in a number of spots. The swale at the Howard Conservancy had at least four and a half dozen Savannahs. My first Blue Grosbeak, Orchard Orioles and Meadowlark singing there. Bobolinks have arrived also!

With the rain today I spent most of the day in the woods at Henrtyon. Morels and Showy Orchis were my targets and I found both. Yellow-throated Vireo was a FOY and Wild turkeys gobbling are starting to become a daily occurrence in the Patapsco.

Was very happy to have my Wood Thrush singing in the yard, Great-crested Flycatcher wheeping and a male Hummer at the feeder
