Hi All,

Last week, an American Woodcock collided with the TDF Bank buildingat the corner of Connecticut Ave and T St. NW. The bank hass plate glass windows with copious amounts of fakefoliage. Interestingly, a year earlier another Woodcock ran into the same bank window. ABC staff spoke with the Branch manager who was concerned, but didn't know if they could make changes to the plastic foliage.

Hi all-

Volunteers for DC Wildlife's Lights Out for Birds program found a dead Worm-eating Warbler yesterday morning at 800 K St. NW. The reflective glass skyway at the 800 K St. complex makes it one of the deadliest buildings in the city for migrating birds. For a photo of the Worm-eating - and several of the other birds found in DC so far this spring, including a Saw-whet Owl - look here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/DC-City-Wildlifes-Lights-Out-for-Birds/116623468350787

Best,
Nick
