When I read Bill Adams' note, I hotfooted it over to Pennyfield. Alas, no ibis in that little inlet (which for weeks has held Blue-winged Teal and Wood Ducks). I continued up to the end of the second (watered) impoundment. At the beginning of that impoundment were a pair of Wood Ducks, a single male Blue-winged Teal, and a Solitary Sandpiper--just like yesterday.
