The Red Phalarope was seen briefly in flight, from the shoulder of Lilypons
Road, about 4:30 this afternoon. Bob Augustine was there when I arrived
and had relocated the bird on the far side of the pool directly north of
the pool where it has been seen most often. It flew to the east. I did
not have time to try to relocate it.
Bob asked me to post that earlier today he found 8 or 9 Bobolinks on
Westerly Road near Poolesville - at the "Dickcissel spot."
