Subject: [MDBirding] PART OF QUEEN ANNES COUNTY MAY COUNT HIGHLIGHTS
Hi all as part of the the Queen Annes County May Count Danny Poet with help from [ Rob Etgen from 6:00 Am till 2:30 Pm ] covered the Queenstown Centreville area with a side trip to the boat launch area on the Q.A. side of Tuckahoe State Park for 30 min early eveing from 6:00 Am till 8:30 Pm with a total of 93 species. Highlights were many some were 33 blue Grosbeaks , one Tundra Swan on a beach in Queenstown Creek , 3 Least Terns in Queenstown Creek, 3 Lesser Scaup in Chester River at a privite site on off Tilgman Neck Rd also there over 100 Ruddy Ducks in two locations 35 in chester river and 72 in Reeds Creek ,With the Ruddys in the Chester River were 2 Black Scoters. at the Tuckahoe Site were 16 Wood Ducks of which 12 were babies following mom . Also seen were both species of Orioles and Scarlet Tanagers and several warblers species . I ended with 2 Chuck-wills widows on Tilghmans Neck road near Centerville
