Les, that was precisely our idea. We want to encourage all kinds of MD birding chit chat, not just sight postings. This is what made TON great, and we hope to achieve the same atmosphere here. So folks, don't be shy or timid about posting your thoughts. All are welcome. With this in mind, I'd like to encourage all of you to visit Washington Monument State Park one of these days. A couple of weekends ago we made the trek to one of hawkwatching sights and were well rewarded. The view from the Monument was wonderful, and the good company we enjoyed with other hawkwatchers for the day was most enjoyable. Speaking of hawks, what wonderful hawkwatching weather we have right now. I am interested in collecting information for a bare bones MD hawk watch page for the MOS State Site, so if anyone out there knows about these wonderful places, do let us all know. Any and all information will be appreciated.
