I guess the Pacific Loon didn't like it's visit to Maryland and decided
to go back to PA.

Randy Miller and I saw an immature Black-legged Kittiwake,
presumably the same one, at 4:50 pm, flying upriver past the
1st RR tunnel with about 25 Bonaparte's Gulls. It went to
roost with 100's of gulls in mid-river, just below the atomic plant.
The 2 best vantage points tomorrow morning at first light(6:30?)
are the yellow and black gate or the 1st tunnel. I know that Tom
Garner and I will be there.
Other birds of interest on the river near Peach Bottom today are:
PACIFIC LOON-1; found again in PA near the 1st tunnel at
            4:05 pm, floating downriver.
Com Loon-12

I hope to see you tomorrow morning.
