Joseph and Tyler,

I recommend parking along Bell Manor Rd and suffering the walk when chasing birds in this area. This is simply because it gives you a greater opportunity to cover a larger portion of the river, and the location of the bird found by Rick Blom would have been about the same hike from that parking area. The lower end of the tunnel should be just about on the line between PA/MD. When I located the PALO a few days later it was only a short distance north of Blom's find, just where the two tracks join as one, and quite some distance from the tunnel.

Marcia Whitmyre reported to me this morning that she'd seen the Kittiwake at about this same spot on Sunday.

Lastly, one of only two places in the county I've had a 12 guage aimed at me was when birding along the Bald Friar Rd trying to end up at the suggested area. I don;t like to tempt fate. By the way, this is also where the idiot that shot the Bald Eagle earlier in the year lives. Get the drift ?
