The AA Co. rare bird alert just got word of a Ross's Goose
in our county. Jim Staz and Marshall Iliff found it yesterday
at dusk and again today.

Directions:
From Annapolis, go south on Rt. 2 to Rt. 408. Take
408 to Greenock Rd. (aka Rt. 259), which goes off to the left.
About .3 of a mile down on the left is a pond. Last night it was
there with a flock of Canadas. If that doesn't work, go back
to 408, turn left, and go .5 mile to a pond on the right. That's
where it was this morning.

By the way, Fran--the pipets in the Blackwater area were
in the field on the left at the end of Egypt Rd. just as you
get to the refuge on Sunday.
