For folks interested in our Western Grebe report:

The bird that most probably could have been confused with the
Western Grebe is the Horned Grebe.  This bird is regularly reported
in rather large numbers from Point Lookout during the Christmas
Counts.  However, while the color is similar, it's much smaller, the
neck is proportional shorter, as is the bill.  A picture would hav
been nice.
