Jack,

I finally figured how to make the connection to the Texas Bird POC. 
Since this happened I have been overwhelmed by the response of the site
manager and the individuals who have taken the time to respond.  These
folks are making very specific suggestions on where to go, where not to
go and how to get local information.  We also got information on the
Christmas Bird Counts and have signed up for as many as our schedule
allows.
