I had busness in Cumberland Wedensday (12/10/97), so I left early and was able to bird at New Germany SP (Garrett Co., MD), from 0700 to 1130. Areas check were around the lake (both sides) up to Twin Churchs Rd., and the campground (lots of nice conifers). Mixed rain/freezing rain until 0930, 2-3 inches of snow on ground, roads clear.
