As you may or may not know, Jane Hill is the current Voice of the Naturalist. She collaborates with Steve Cordle, who uploads her file to MODOsprey and to BIRDEAST as soon as he gets it. If you miss it here you can check out Chuck Williamson's "Zingy Daily BirdMail Reader" at: http://nbhc.com/birdmail.htm Chuck is, as it were, the horse's mouth (sorry Chuck, couldn't resist) from which flows all good hotline transcripts. When you go to his web site, you'll see what I mean. The list software here at ARI is, unfortunately, prone to burping occasionally, which means that messages may show up in our archives but not ever get distributed, or vice versa. I've been told that this isn't a real problem by the powers that be here. What do you think? Oh! Problems may arise when Steve is away or otherwise incommunicado. But if you check Chuck's site, you'll know for sure whether or not the Vocie Transcript has been posted. Cheers, Norm =============== Norm Saunders Colesville, MD osprey@ari.net
