Joe, most landfills, including the one in Cecil County, I imagine,
are closed on sundays, while some remain open on Saturday. Gary
Griffith should be able to fill you in on the details.

Note the reports of the LBBG on Solomons Island at the southern tip
of Calvert County. This great little town is only a short ride (a
tad over an hour maybe) down into Southern Maryland and you can stop
at some of the other good locations down there (see Claudia's book
for other ideas).

Additionally, the infamous "Wall" at the base of Conowingo Dam is
often a great place to scope for LBBGs though we saw none there last
Sunday during a brief stop.

Anyone else have any sure-fire LBBG locations they can suggest?

Cheers,
Norm

P.S. The landfill was a mucky mess...go prepared for oozy, sticky
mud.
