I have Bond, if you would like to borrow. Don't know coverage.

More later.

My wife and I signed up for the Tobago trip that was cited on this
listserv about a month ago. Now I have a question about the birds of
this area. The group leader is proposing that we get together to get a
discount on a book-The Birds of the West Indies. But when I looked over
this book at the CMBO store, the area of coverage of the book seems to
exclude Trinidad and Tobago. However, they had another book which was
exclusively for T&T, not cheap ($35) and not the kind of pictures and
layout of the National Geographic Guide.

Does anyone have any knowledge/experience in this area to know whether a
guide to the West Indies or South American Birds would be good enough and
yet more useful for future trips to other areas? How about a bird
checklist for this area? Any ideas where one can be picked up from the
Internet? I checked several websites without any luck?

Thanks for any help/ideas,
Joe Halpin
