Andy & Roger, thanks for the detailed description of Black Hill Park.
I walked the hard top path across from your "snags" Saturday
afternoon. A Red Headed Woodpecker was poking around holes in the
dead trees and catching insects on the wing, a Ring Necked Duck and
Gadwall were in the middle of the lake, 5 Hooded Mergansers were
sitting on a log, and a Red Shouldered Hawk soared overhead.

The Lily Ponds area on Friday had White Crowned and Swamp Sparrows,
Tundra Swans, Wood Ducks and 17 Hooded Mergansers. Dan Eberly
