Hi all,

My parents live in Bethany and I get to look for the Monk parakeets once in a
while. I have looked at Silver Lake on three occassions and only saw them flying
over the lake once.  You'll hear them before you see them.  I got a much better
look at them last year during Thanksgiving weekend, when I saw 3 sitting on a
phone line along Rt.1 about 1.5 miles from the big shopping outlets.  The lessen
here is, they could be anywhere in the Rehobath Area.  Imagine my surprise when
I saw 3 greenish blue looking birds hanging out by a major road.  Had it not
been for the traffic jam, I would have never noticed.
