Tyler Bell and I had about 100 AMERICAN PIPITS in southern St. Mary's County, MD, around 10 a.m. Sunday, 3/22, about 0.8 mile in from Route 5 on Villa Road (sorry, no DeLorme map here at home) between St. Inigoes and St. Mary's City. They were feeding in fields which are standing in water on both sides of Villa Road. They flew from one side of the road to the other, and that's when we estimated the flock to number around 100.
