Here's the tide data, for DC, which is probably an hour or so behind St.
Georges Island, for the days that the Yellow-billed Loon:

3/14 (Virginia group)		3:45pm Low		3:30-4:30pm
3/22 (Leo Weigant)		8:52am Low		10:00-10:30am

See a trend?! I know, you statisticians will shoot holes in this with
n=3, but....
