Fran:

Pax River NAS has Upland Sandpiper yearly from about mid-
July through early August. Get in touch with Doug or Kyle
about when they have arrived and how you can get on board
to see them.

Marty Cribb sees both night-herons at Point Lookout coming
in to fish the traps at the entrance to the marina there,
during the summer, or, you can take the ferry from Pt.
Lookout to Smith Island where both can be seen in good
numbers. You might also pick up a Wilson's Storm-petrel
in transit.

Good Birding!
