WTNA Northern Shrike Question

Hi Kevin!

I see you are associated with the staff at the Wildfowl Trust. I have a
question I have not been able to get answered ... maybe you can help?

I am the Secretary of the MD/DC Records Committee, the group that reviews
rare bird reports. A Northern Shrike was observed at the WTNA between
11/18/1995 - 12/22/1995.

A story ran on this bird in the organization's newsletter in the spring of
1996. In the article, there was a photo labelled as "juvenile Northern
Shrike" by Al Lease. I am trying to find out if the photo was of the bird
in question, or was it a file photo. I haven't been able to locate the
photographer, Al Lease. Maybe the files might indicate (like on the back
of the photo) when and where the photo was taken? I have a copy of the
newsletter, but don't know if I should circulate it with the rest of the
documentation or not.

Any help you could provide on this would be helpful, and appreciated.

I'm leaving at noon on Sunday for a week of travel, so I'll be out of touch
until next weekend.

Thanks!

Phil Davis
Secretary, MD/DC Records Committee
